Remember that trip to Norway we took last year? Well, this corner of our living room has been in need of some art for quite some time and I wanted it to have some color. After searching without any (affordable) luck, it occurred to me to blow up this picture from our trip and to just add a favorite phrase to it.We have many pictures from our trips over the years spread throughout our house, but this is the first time I have not gone with black and white and the first time I added typography. I often feel that pictures in full color can look cheap (not always), but this one with it's muted colors seemed just the ticket. The result is a very personalized art piece with memories attached to it.
